Our specialist curriculum areas include Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Welding, Health and Safety, Customer Service, Data/Fiber Communications, Building Services Design and Consultancy, Wiring Regulations/Inspection and Testing, PAT Testing, Multi-Skilling and Up-Skilling, Plumbing, Part P Certification Requirements. We can, however, through our associates design and deliver any customised course to suit client specific request.    

Our main objective is to provide guidance, education and training to assist learners to fulfill their basic individual need for continuing professional development in all fields of technology and employment

We believe that quality should be an embedded prerequisite permeating training provision. Our goal is to work collaboratively with employers to assess initial needs and training processes written to individual and customised specification. We therefore recognize that a sound relationship and partnership with industry is essential to ensure that the learner remains committed and focused and prove to be a sound investment in future business and technology.

  • DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) through the RDI have recognised and have given us full status for the full Digital Changeover training provision for the North East and Scottish Borders.  
  • We would like to thank TRIAX (South Wales) for their generous sponsorship.
    TRIAX will supply the aerial equipment to assist in the digital switchover training process
  • COVE Training has been awarded the North East of England Centre Of Vocational Excellence for training by NAPIT the awarding body involved with the government initiative for the Part P certification in full and defined scope requirements. Courses to start in Jan’07

          Course updates

  • Newcastle University- Training is now been delivered in multi-Skilling areas involving plumbing and electrical courses
  • Newcastle City Council- Training takes place early December for the first cohort of trainees. This training involves collaboration with the ‘Project Newcastle’ team to address the unemployment and reskilling regeneration for the people of Newcastle.
  • Pin Point Personnel - A partnership will offer the ‘Project Newcastle’ courses a different dimension by posting skills and qualification achievements to employers from the company data base to enhance employment opportunities
